I’m Edu Ātman, a Spanish artist creating bespoke oil paintings for destination weddings throughout Spain. Each commission begins before the celebration, takes shape live during the wedding and is later completed in my studio as a finished work of art.

Spain offers extraordinary settings for destination weddings: Mediterranean villas, historic estates, palaces, castles and celebrations surrounded by architecture, landscape and light. These elements can become part of the painting, creating an artwork that belongs not only to your wedding day, but also to the place where it happened.
A private commission, arranged from anywhere in the world
Distance doesn’t need to complicate the creative process. Before the wedding, we meet online to discuss your story, the venue and the moment you would like to preserve. I then coordinate the details of the commission and my travel to Spain with you or your wedding planner.
After the celebration, the painting returns with me to the studio, where I develop the portraits, depth, glazes and details until the artwork reaches its final form.
The celebration ends. The artwork continues.
Live painting is only the beginning of the artwork. After your wedding, the canvas returns to my studio, where I continue working on portraits, depth, light, glazes and details until the painting reaches its final artistic standard.
This studio process allows the finished piece to be approached as a lasting work of art rather than something that simply had to be completed during the celebration.

Once the painting is completed and protected in the studio, it is carefully prepared for delivery. International commissions can be arranged for couples living outside Spain, with the final artwork delivered after the studio process is complete.
